North Country Website Design has come a long way since 2008, when Marla’s first vision for a local, affordable website design company came to be. Her focus and dedication have helped build and shape many businesses’ online presence over the last 17 years. Here are some behind-the-scenes facts about Marla in her own words!
My favorite dessert—I am a very healthy eater, so my favorite nighttime snack is Nicecream. It consists of frozen bananas blended with almond milk and made into ice cream. I add a few sugar-free chocolate chips and nuts on top! Yum!
My favorite food — is all kinds of potatoes. I have a bit of an addiction, so I have to really portion out potatoes when I eat them!
I am passionate about — disability rights and awareness. You can’t always see someone’s disability, so be compassionate—you don’t always know when someone is struggling.
The book I love — I love reading nonfiction, sci-fi, action-packed books and movies, but I really only have time to read nonfiction. The best book I’ve ever read was Hunger Games. I believe I read it in less than two days.
My favorite font – Georgia – It is easy to read but not boring!
My favorite thing about designing/creating websites – I love the aspect of website design where I get to be creative on my artistic side, but then use my technical side to make it all work together!
