Low Cost, High Quality Websites
Frequently Asked
Questions
Every business needs a website page with
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). Every
time a customer asks you a question, you
need to decide whether it is something that other
customers may ask or find interesting and useful to
know. You need to make sure that you answer the
questions clearly and take advantage of the opportu-
nity to connect with your customers and reflect the
personality of your business and brand. You should
have a FAQs page to save you time, identify you as an
expert, improve search engine listings, highlight key
information, and more.
North Country Website
Design’s FAQs:
How much does it cost to create a
website?
Most new informational websites cost approximately
$1050 for a custom website that we maintain. The av-
erage new WordPress site costs about $1695. An in-
formational website (and mobile website) is a website
that has the basic information that you find on every
website; home page, about us, contact us, our ser-
vices, and one additional page. These pages contain
normal information and link to your business’ social
media pages. The type of sites that cost about $1050
(or about $1695 for WordPress) don’t sell items online
and don’t have portfolios, special questionnaires,
blogs, etc. Each of those items add cost to your site.
Many businesses think of additional items to add to
their website once we get started on the design, but
don’t forget these items add to the cost of your
website.

here is a great article.
How Much Does It Cost To Build A Website For A Small
Business?
The article explains prices for DIY website and typical
prices for professionals around the country. “For com-
petent, experienced web designers that did list their
prices, we found the going rate in 2021 to build a
modern, professional small business website was typ-
ically $4,000-$10,000 but could be as much as $20,000
(or more) depending on the number of pages on the
site and the amount of customization required.”
How much will my first
invoice/bill be?
Before NCWD gets started on your website/mobile
site design, a deposit of $495 is required (or $695 for
WordPress Designs). So, your first bill will already have
a credit the deposit amount. If your informational
website costs $1050 and your deposit was $495, then
your first bill will be about $500, plus webhosting and
domain costs. Included in this invoice, you will pay for
the remaining amount of your website design ($500)
and you will pay for one year for your domain (.com
domains are $35), one year for secure website certifi-
cate ($45), and you will pay for at least one month of
webhosting ($13.00 per month). You may have addi-
tional expenses if you have thought of other items to
add to your website. In this example, your first bill
would be $583.
How can I make a payment for my

Why do I need my site linked to a
business Facebook page (and/or
LinkedIn, or any other social media
page)?
Social media is here to stay. This means that almost
all businesses need to have a social media presence.
They also need to have a social media marketing plan.
In today’s digital world, those who fail to do this, may
even see their businesses start to flop. Consumers are
used to being able to shop online, and they’re also
used to interacting with their favorite brands on social
networks.
Social media is not expensive, and, if done properly, is
incredibly effective. The Internet affords businesses a
variety of fantastic ways to develop their business. So
be sure that you’re making the most of them.
If social media seems overwhelming to you, NCWD
can help you set up all the pages you need. NCWD can
also set up an online marketing plan for you, and exe-
cute that online marketing plan. Call NCWD today to
talk to us more about your social media and online
marketing plans.
